The History of Yayasan Sayap Proyek Indonesia

• Yayasan Sayap Proyek Indonesia was officially established on March 30, 2020, as a legally recognized foundation under the Foundation Deed issued by Notary Irwanda, SH, MKn. The foundation received legal approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia through Decree No. AHU-0006071.AH.01.04 of 2020.

• Located at Telaga Cinta, Timbang Jaya Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia (Postal Code 20774), the foundation currently focuses its programs within Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

• The current decline in environmental conditions in Indonesia and globally.

• Indonesia is one of the world’s largest contributors to plastic waste.

• Ongoing forest degradation that threatens human livelihoods and biodiversity.

• Limited public awareness of the importance of environmental protection and conservation.

• The need to develop sustainable and responsible livelihood opportunities for communities.
