Recycling village
We built our recycling village with sustainable materials and so called Ecobricks. Ecobricks are made from PET bottles filled with cleaned plastic waste and can be used as stable building blocks.
With meeting spaces, training center and a new sports facilities the recycling village is a place for community. Located directly at the foot of Gunung Leuser National it is an excellent place to observe and learn about environmental challenges.

Environmental class
We teach English to children and adults, with lessons focused on environmental topics. Our teachers visit schools around Bukit Lawang and also hold classes in our Recycling Village. Every Friday, our staff—both local and international—learn together.
Volunteering
We welcome volunteers from Indonesia and all over the world to join our activities and become part of Project Wings community.
